Privacy Policy

Who operates this service

Beijing Jizhi Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. (北京集智创新科技有限公司) operates this product. For privacy questions, access or deletion requests, contact service@kitedance.com. Please identify the product and your account or classroom, without sending passwords, API keys or private photos.

Kite Gallery is in development. This policy describes the current app design; the website does not offer a download or purchase.

Photos permissions and local processing

The app uses iOS Photos permission to access the media and albums you authorize, including identifiers, dates, formats, dimensions and favorite state. Limited access is supported. Browsing, library analysis, similar-photo analysis and aesthetic scoring run on your device. The current design has no developer-operated server receiving your photos or analysis results, no app account, advertising or developer analytics SDK.

Local records and iCloud

Preferences, media indexes, scores, scan attempts, cleanup records and editing history are stored locally. Apple controls system backups and iCloud Photos. Opening, editing or sharing cloud media may cause iOS to retrieve it from iCloud; that is not an upload to us. Scanning does not itself download iCloud originals.

Saving, sharing and deletion

Edits and compression create copies by default. Deletion requires your selection and the system confirmation; it is not automatic. Changes may synchronize through iCloud. Apple Photos controls Recently Deleted and recovery. Files you share through the system share sheet may retain original metadata such as dates or location.

Purchases and choices

If paid access is offered in a release, Apple handles purchase, subscription renewal, refunds and restoration. The app verifies signed transactions locally and does not collect your card details or Apple account password. You can change Photos access in iOS Settings, manage editing history in the app and manage purchases through Apple. Clearing preview cache does not erase library originals or every analysis record.

See Apple’s Privacy Policy. We will update this policy before introducing developer servers or additional collection.
