Who operates this service
Beijing Jizhi Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. (北京集智创新科技有限公司) operates this product. For privacy questions, access or deletion requests, contact service@kitedance.com. Please identify the product and your account or classroom, without sending passwords, API keys or private photos.
Classroom and learning information
Kite Words stores teacher and student accounts, class membership, lesson versions, classroom notes, answers, review progress and points records in its hosted database. A teacher may enter a student’s name and optional phone number. Student account passwords are stored as salted hashes rather than displayed as plaintext.
Teachers control classroom access and should obtain any permissions required for learners in their care, especially children. Students can access their own practice and progress; classroom administration is limited to authorized teachers.
Learning materials and audio
Public word illustrations, lesson materials and audio are stored separately from personal classroom records. Text and voice settings are sent to the speech provider when speech is generated; cached audio can then be reused. Browser media caches store downloaded materials locally and can be cleared in browser settings. Classroom records still require a network connection.
Accounts and local storage
Essential session cookies keep you signed in. The browser may temporarily save practice actions so interrupted work can be synchronized. Removing a class or lesson hides its records from normal use; it does not necessarily immediately erase personal learning history or independent public media.
Your information and choices
You can use the controls provided by the product and contact us about access, correction, export or deletion. We may need to verify your identity or the responsible teacher’s authority. Some records may remain in backups or be retained where necessary for security, financial records or applicable obligations. Contact us for the scope of a particular request.
Service providers and updates
Cloudflare provides hosting, data storage and network services. Infrastructure providers may process network and diagnostic information to deliver and protect the service. We do not sell your personal information. We will update this policy when the product’s data practices change; the date above identifies the current version.
