The service and its operator
These terms apply to this product, operated by Beijing Jizhi Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. (北京集智创新科技有限公司). By using it, you agree to these terms and the product’s Privacy Policy. Contact service@kitedance.com for support.
Responsible use
Use the service only where you are entitled to do so. Keep account credentials private. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access or upload material you do not have permission to use. You retain rights in your own content; you permit the processing needed to provide the features you request.
Personal learning
Tide Words provides a shared KET and PET vocabulary collection, AI-generated practice contexts and personal spaced-review scheduling. Registration and sign-in are required to use vocabulary practice, browse the vocabulary collection and synchronize learning records. Email verification is the primary account flow; existing GitHub sign-in remains available. Protect access to your email and sign-in sessions. Children should use the service with permission and appropriate guidance from their parent or guardian.
Educational and generated content
Dictionary entries, examples, translations and AI-generated questions can contain errors. The service is not an official Cambridge examination resource, language assessment or guarantee of proficiency. Review explanations critically and report errors to support. Review schedules estimate useful practice times from your answers and elapsed time; results vary. Challenge difficulty rises with correct answers and falls gradually after mistakes. Vocabulary estimates refer only to the selected collection, use limited practice observations and are displayed with their sample count and an indicative range; they are not a validated measure of total English vocabulary or an official assessment.
Availability and existing records
AI generation and email delivery depend on service providers and may be temporarily unavailable or subject to daily limits. Clearly labeled vocabulary meaning questions remain available while AI contexts are being prepared. Daily learning goals do not prevent additional practice. Previously saved answers remain in your account. You may need to sign in again after a change of domain or device. Keep a copy of important older browser-only records using the legacy export page.
Paid services
Any future paid feature must show its price and purchase terms before you confirm a purchase. Creating an account does not by itself create a paid subscription.
Availability, changes and support
Features may change or become unavailable for maintenance or development. We do not guarantee a particular learning result, uninterrupted service or compatibility with every device. Keep independent copies of important content where export is available. These terms do not exclude rights or protections that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
We may restrict access for misuse or to protect the service, and will update these terms for material changes. For questions or a dispute, contact service@kitedance.com so we can try to resolve it.
